The Daily Mail reports that alongside sorting out the family home, splitting the goods and chattels, agreeing custody of the cat and access to the children there’s a new must do on the divorcees list – ordering the divorce cake!
A US trend (apparently) the
divorce cake comes along side the divorce parties and celebratory dinners.
Apparently there’s already a cake shop in Edinburgh meeting the growing demand.
As
divorce lawyers we do hear about the occasional divorce party, some couples even have joint celebrations believe it or not, but we’ve not really come across many divorce cakes as yet – although maybe a new divorce trend is emerging.
